Project Brief:

  • Made out of 1/8” acrylic board

  • MYKEA is known for its sleek and simple designs. Design with Ikea in mind.

  • Assembly Required – At least two components

  • Minimal material usage

To me, Ikea (aka MYKEA) is all about simplicity and the color white. Their products have this texture that makes them immediately recognizable as Ikea products. I am to do the same here.

For this prototype, I aim to utilize some spray paint, sanding, and heat bending to get to the results I am looking for.

Our final deliverable is a poster. I experimented with the page layout such that it can be used in a catalog or an Ad on the subway.
